Croatia Trip - Friday: Flying home back to SFO...
Woke up early at 4am to take a taxi to the airport. During layover in Zurich (flight was delayed -- no Swiss-German precision evident here), tried some local Bianco di Merlot Terre Alte Swiss wine. Very light in color; almost like water, but has such a crisp taste to it and smooth finish. Yum.
Also managed to smuggle in all this Croatian liqueur. From left to right: Kruskovac, pear liqueur, fig liqueur, walnut liqueur and honey with pear liqueur. In front, some tarfufo sauce (smells amazing), and a couple packets of instant coffee, which is already helping me with my jetlag.
