Croatia Trip - Thursday: Hvar (continued)

Woke up late, had lunch at Gariful, recommended by the Croatian woman I met at the beach yesterday.

Hiked up to the fortress, steps within the city, switchbacks uphill of the city, with butterflies and the cacophony of crickets. One local woman tried to give me a cricket she caught. I politely, yet desperately declined.

Went to Jerolim, the second closest island from Hvar due to the lateness of the day, and the water taxis stopped running. Not enough tourists.

Went to Hula Hula. Found grappa there, plus enjoyed a decent pina colada while listening to the music. Great music, beats with some younger stuff mixed in.

Had dinner at an upscale restaurant within Restaurant Row. Beautiful restaurant with an upper deck, glass floors and romantic mood lighting. Had the fish stew again apparently... Ordered off the traditional dishes part of the menu. Much better than Luna's.

Rounded out the nightlife scene with a visit to Carpe Diem. Hoped to meet up with new found friends but they didn't show. Still, great music, good drinks for what it is, and phenomenal people watching. Time passed by so fast... They closed with "I've Had The Time Of My Life" at 2am abruptly (the doors literally closed), everyone piled out of the bar and in to water taxis waiting to take them to the islands for continuation of the night.
